Hi! I’m Morgan. I’m so glad you’re here. The Well is a place that I hope you come to and walk away being one step closer to Jesus.
I didn’t become a follower of Jesus until the age of 27, a transformative point in my life. Until then, I had lived a life devoid of a meaningful relationship with the Lord, but everything changed as I embarked on this remarkable journey. Every Sunday, as I entered the church, I was overwhelmed with inspiration, yet shockingly, my weekdays failed to reflect this newfound joy in Christ. The influences around me—the books I read, the TV shows I indulged in, the podcasts I absorbed—were miles away from honoring God or nurturing my relationship with Him. Thankfully, three incredible friends (one of whom would ultimately become my husband!) began to share life-changing recommendations: powerful sermons to watch, uplifting worship albums to dive into, and profound books to explore, all aimed at deepening my bond with Jesus. This guidance altered my life in ways I could never have imagined, and that same hope is what The Well offers you.
The Well exists to provide recommendations on authentic, biblical resources. There is a profound reason why the majority of the New Testament urgently warns believers to steer clear of false teachings and to hold tight to the gospel they first embraced. Just because something claims to be ‘Christian’ does not guarantee that it is Christ-centered or surrendered to Him. My hope is to provide you with recommendations for books, podcasts, sermons, music, and any other media that truly reflects the heart of the Bible. I am committed to living out 1 John 4:1 – “Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see if they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world,” with the intention of strengthening the discernment muscles of anyone who engages with what is shared.

Whether you are just beginning your journey of faith or have been guided by the Lord for years, my deepest desire is that you encounter something here—whether it be a word or a melody—that doesn’t just add to your knowledge but ignites a profound intimacy with your Creator, the One who cherishes you beyond measure.
